Electrician

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to use all equipment and machinery, and understand and read all schematics and drawings, related to the trade requirements
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices without supervision
• Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modification and installations
• Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment
• Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience with a completion of an industrial electrician apprenticeship program or a combination of education and experience in the trade
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Strong trouble shooting skills with a commitment to deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
• Shift flexibility is a requirement 
• Ability to work overtime, when required
