Since 1994 over 10,000 people have been involved with the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC. There are currently over 500 active members in the SKGABC, including guides, associate members, and company owners/operators. Guides are certified to four different levels, and Level Three Guides may receive additional certification statuses.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a certified sea kayak guide to join our team for the summer of 2024. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or occasional opportunities, we welcome passionate individuals who are eager to share their love for kayaking with others. As a sea kayak guide with Kelp Reef, your responsibilities will include: Conducting 2-hour and 3-hour guided tours of Victoria HarbourProviding exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the experienceAssisting with the setup and cleanup of equipment before and after toursDemonstrating proficiency in kayaking techniques and environmental knowledgeWorking independently and collaboratively within a small team environmentMaintaining equipment and ensuring its proper functionalityUpholding company policies and safety protocols at all times
