Corporate Treasury QA Retail team is responsible for liquidity risks managing, interest risk management and fund transfer pricing at RBC.

What will you do?

  • Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools

  • Execute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.

  • Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions

  • Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings

  • Run E2E and integration testing

  • Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Robot Framework, Selenium, REST API, Postman) and development in Python language (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark)

  • Database technologies (MS SQL, Teradata, Sybase, Vertica, Hadoop) and 5+ years in-depth knowledge of T-SQL. Experience working with ETL applications.; Experience in QRM, MS HPC and API testing

  • With a Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience having minimum 5+ years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).

  • Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases

  • Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA, Confluence and qTest; Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, Helios, GIT, UCD etc.

  • Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills
