Key Responsibilities

Accurately measuring new and existing employees using tape measures to ensure proper fit on uniforms. Altering or repairing uniforms and other articles, which includes hemming, mending, lengthening, as well as taking in and letting out seams. Label uniforms with barcode materials and prepare them for pick up Assist employees who require uniform service; issue new uniforms and/or loaners as required Design patterns on repurposed fabrics for other uses, ensuring accurate and uniform results Accurately record all daily activities performed on daily log Perform uniform inventory as directed Keep uniform inventory in proper place in the inventory room Have all new inventory barcoded or RFID chipped and entered into uniform software Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere to departmental quality standards.

What You Bring

Basic understanding to assess a fabric repair and the most efficient way to complete the repair including uniforms, furniture, drapery & other items as required Must have the ability to work with the uniform software application Must have experience of operating commercial sewing equipment with an understanding of mending and alteration techniques Use of computer software – e-mail and uniform software Strong Customer Service Skill for internal and external customers Must have strong organizational skills
