CNC Machinist

This CNC Machinist Position Features:

• Great Pay from $58K to $69K
Days – 8am to 4pm
OT after 40 hours
RRSP

What You'll Bring:

Minimum 5 years of experience in set-up, programming, and operation of CNC 3-axis Mill or CNC 5-axis Mill using SolidWorks
Must have HANDS ON experience using CAM or CAD software in a work environment, not just schooling
Completion of General Machinist 429A CoQ/CoA preferred
Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
Experience using measuring equipment
Proven high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Forklift certification preferred but willing to train
Mechanically inclined and strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team
Team-oriented and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment

Position Overview:

Responsible for Set-up, programming, and operation of CNC 3-axis Mill or CNC 5-axis Mill
Accurately interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
Set parts and tools, and measure parts
Perform first op-inspections and quality checks on machined parts
General cleaning of workspace
Use of other manual mills, lathes, saws, and other machinery as needed
Ensure the use of proper PPE
