We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join the CI Investment Services Inc. team. In this role you will partner with the business and IT to implement solutions and processes to achieve our strategic goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Proactively investigate, understand, and articulate business issues, processes and opportunities and recommend solutions that can be applied. Facilitate the communication between the business and IT, soliciting input and expertise from business subject matter experts and technology teams.  Lead complex group meetings for problem solving, decision making and implementation planning. Be responsible and accountable for the business requirements/specifications to be complete, accurate, concise, and achievable and to obtain signoff from the business owners. Support testing phases as well as assist with project implementation. Develop and implement test plans and test cases to ensure quality implementations. Ensure smooth transition from Project to Support with necessary documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Business Analyst. Knowledge and experiences with financial markets, broker dealer and custody processes. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and/or Investment Funds Operations Course considered an asset. Proficient user of all MS desktop tools and Atlassian software – Confluence and Jira. Strong analytical capabilities are required along with a strong focus on attention to detail. Solid communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. Solid organizational skills, capable of multitasking and the ability to deliver high quality work under pressure. Motivated person with the ability to work independently as well as a contributing member of the team. Excellent business skills, information systems experience and exposure to project management processes an asset.
