About the opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the City's entire data centre environment, resolving IT data centre issues for the organization in a timely and efficient manner. Primary responsibilities include managing server infrastructure lifecycles; coordinating multi-OS server environments; identifying and correcting server operating system issues; maintaining identity management between on premise and multiple cloud environments
About your background:
You have a diploma or degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies from an accredited post-secondary institution. Advanced Professional Certifications in VM Ware (VCP), Windows Operating Systems (MCSA), or other related areas considered an asset. A minimum of one year of related experience supporting desktops, networks or applications in a virtualized Windows environment. Recent and demonstrated work experience managing Microsoft's Windows Operating systems, Microsoft SCCM, VM Ware VSphere, and VM Ware Horizon.
