Description
The Stores Supervisor ensures smooth day-to-day operations of stores area, including receiving, shipping, staffing and safety. Develops policies and procedures with respect to internal and external risk assessment and management. Participates in and submits reasonable budget information and analyzes data versus year-to-date data and prior year budget. Notifies management of critical situations and suggest possible solutions. Assists in training, directing & supervision of Stores employees; inspecting and certifying their work. Provides weekend on-call rotation in the Stores/Purchasing department. Attends and contributes to regular daily and weekly safety, compliance and facility trainings/meetings.
Along with excellent computer skills the candidate must be customer focused and possess strong interpersonal & leadership skills. Previous experience in Stores and knowledge of office procedures are assets. The successful candidate must be willing to be trained on forklift operation.
