Position Summary

Course: Popular Music Performance and Politics in North America in Post WW II.

The instructor will introduce students to exploring the diverse popular musics that have dominated popular culture since the mid-1950s, including Country, Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul, Motown, Heavy Metal, Disco, Hip-Hop, Rap, and Pop, among others. Position Requirements The successful candidate must possess a MA, MFA, or PhD, or equivalent degree;

Experience teaching at a University level is required;
Experience managing classroom technologies for teaching;
Must provide a sample syllabus relevant to the course description.
