Position Summary
Course: Popular Music Performance and Politics in North America in Post WW II.The instructor will introduce students to exploring the diverse popular musics that have dominated popular culture since the mid-1950s, including Country, Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul, Motown, Heavy Metal, Disco, Hip-Hop, Rap, and Pop, among others. Position Requirements The successful candidate must possess a MA, MFA, or PhD, or equivalent degree;
Experience teaching at a University level is required;
Experience managing classroom technologies for teaching;
Must provide a sample syllabus relevant to the course description.
