Essential Duties and responsibilities

Training Program Management: Oversee the development and execution of the Corporate Quality Food Safety Training Program. Training Portal Coordination: Act as a primary contact for the company training portal, facilitating and updating content as required Manage Relationships: Cultivate and maintain trustworthy relationships with customers and coordinate closely with the Corporate Quality Department. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work in tandem with Sales, Legal, Marketing, Sustainability, Transportation and Warehouse, EHS, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure effective communication. Customer Requests: Analyze and respond to customer inquiries related to quality, ensuring prompt and accurate feedback. Confidentiality Oversight: Protect the confidentiality of sensitive company information while sharing necessary details with relevant stakeholders. Audit Preparation Support: Assist in preparing for third-party GFSI and customer audits, focusing on training requirements and data accuracy. Quality Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with department managers to enhance quality programs, including record-keeping, data management, and technology integration. Customer Portal Management: Oversee customer portals, ensuring they are updated and managed effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree (Food Science or technical degree preferred but not required) 2-4 years of experience working in a quality/food safety role within food industry HACCP/GFSI/PCQI/Auditing experience Strong interpersonal skills as this position is the face of High Liner Foods to our supplier partners Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good organizational and record keeping skills Strong analytical problem solving skills, results driven Passionate, self-starter, strong commitment to High Liner Quality.
