Looking to get the most out of your upcoming internship?

Hatch is seeking motivated  Power Co-op Students  with an interest in Energy and Power Systems for 4-month, 8-month or 12-month internships starting in September 2024. You will work on a variety of client-driven projects to support all sectors within Power (nuclear, thermal, and eGrid which encompasses renewables, hybrid power, transmission & distribution and grid modernization). This role is based in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities: 

Solve challenging problems pertaining to energy technologies and power generating systems Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment Actively participate in the creation of the technical reports and presentations to clients Assist in the research and development of energy technologies

Education and Experience:

Preference for 3rd or 4th year Engineering student  Strong academic record Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes): 

Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges  Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation Adapts and embraces change
