To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of  GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a  Human Capital Coordinator  who will report to the Human Capital Manager and will be based out of Swift Current or Yorkton.


Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities include:

Assisting with day to day operations of the HC department functions and duties Working with and supporting recruiting activities (including creation of job postings, screening interviews, reference checks, liaise with position supervisor/managers, etc.) Supporting department managers in administration and scheduling of regularly occurring HC processes Facilitating new hire orientation and on-boarding requirements Assisting staff to interpret and implement HC/Organizational policies and procedures  Attending and actively contributing in HC organizational meetings and committees  General HC administration such as filing, data entry, document preparation and distribution, legislative research, etc.  Other HC administrative tasks Works collaboratively as a full partner within the Human Capital department Maintains a clean work area and performing work in a neat and orderly fashion Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Ensures all safety regulations and requirements are followed by self and others Works to build and maintain constructive co-worker relations, and effective and productive team dynamics  Participates in training programs as required for the development of skills and knowledge

Requirements

Certificate or diploma in a Human Resources or related field (business, commerce, HR, etc.) A combination of education and experience may be considered Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and relevant legislation is beneficial Ability to read, write, and speak effectively with customers and/or other employees

Candidate must have:

Good attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Proficient in working with others, in a team environment Candidate must be professional and be able to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information Willingness to work flexible hours as needed Administrative expertise and knowledge of office procedures Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications Valid driver’s license required
