The Support to Operations (STO) Design Engineer within Turbomachinery is responsible for providing engineering support to supply chain. He assumes responsibility for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project. He contributes to his team or department by applying his knowledge of several functional areas. If you are a professional able to work quite independently and have a thorough knowledge of the discipline and the role, we invite you to apply.
What your day to day will look like:
Design modifications that will resolve producibility challenges on turbomachinery components. Perform thorough engineering evaluations of non-conforming material. Support outsourcing activities by defining and executing substantiation plans for components manufactured by new suppliers. Initiate design modifications for cost reductionsWhat you need to be successful:

Be eligible to work in Canada Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written). French is an asset. Analytical skills Focus on results Teamwork and thoroughnessAssets:
