Purpose of Role: The Labourer will be responsible for performing various physical duties and assisting in various tasks within the rubber shop, including operating basic hand tools, supporting machine operators, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport raw rubber materials and finished products within the shop. Machine Operation: Operate and maintain various rubber processing machines, ensuring they run efficiently and safely. Shop Assistance: Support shop workers, such as rubber liners, hose builders, buffers, and sand blasters by providing necessary tools and materials, and assisting with tasks as needed. Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Experience providing hands on mechanical support with a mechanical aptitude and mindset Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Physically demanding position working actively in a busy environment
