AppleOne is hiring an Injection Mold Process Tech
$28-35/hr

12-hour shifts- rotating days/nights OR 8-hour straight night shift

Job Duties:
•Proficiently start up, shutdown, setup and troubleshoot injection molding, thermoforming and injection blow molding machines.
•Recommend, participate in, and implement continuous improvement and proactive initiatives.
•Optimize process to increase efficiency, product quality and reduce waste.
•Complete daily reporting and audits.
•Communicate with prior and oncoming shifts about work assignments and production expectations.
•Review production processes and maintain required documentation.
•Perform all job functions abiding by all Health and Safety rules and regulations (HACCP & SQF).
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles.
•Provide technical support to the Machine Operators.
•Responsible for training Team Members.
•Acting Supervisor if necessary.
Fit/Experience:
•Mechanical Technician Diploma an asset.
•No one from automotive
•Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must (3-5 years)
•Strong knowledge of injection molding, thermoforming, or injection blow molding machines
•Strong mechanical aptitude of machines and processes
•Ability to repair, set-up, start-up, troubleshoot and shut down machines.
•Leadership qualities: interpersonal and people management
•Supervisor experience is an asset.
•Must be reliable, hardworking and have a strong willingness to learn.
•Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail
•Ability to work efficiently and effectively both within a team and independently.
•Strong written/verbal and problem-solving skills
•Good computer skills: Microsoft Office apps
