We are seeking Meat Clerk to join our team This position reports directly to the Meat Supervisor and some of the responsibilities include;

To ensure customer service is provided through maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards Performs all aspects of Meat function including but not limited to, stocking, proper storage of product, displays and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentation and stock levels are maintained. Handle merchandise ensuring quality and minimize damages and markdowns Perform general clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe and clean meat department is maintained

What skills and abilities will you need to be considered?

Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience Previous retail or related experience

What skills and abilities will set you apart from others?

Knowledge of meat products / experience or related retail meat experience

MINIMUM / ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Related retail experience.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of meat products / experience.
