Bakery/Deli Clerk

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:

 Preparing, wrapping, pricing, and stocking product as required and assigned.  Maintaining and displaying all types of deli and bakery products according to standards.  Ensuring all specified overnight care and department handling procedures are adhered to.  Operating printer, scales, and slicer.  Performing interior housekeeping and maintenance duties.  Coming to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.  Getting familiar with and adhere to Legacy Co-op policies and procedures.  Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are interested in a career in customer service and should have: 

 Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.  Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.  Willingness to advance knowledge through training.  Excellent customer service skills with a desire and ability to work with the public.  Ability to work independently and also in a team setting.  Physically able to do heavy lifting of 60lbs, climbing and kneeling.  Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. You have or are willing to obtain a Food Safe Certificate.
