Job Description

A Hydraulics Designer is responsible for completing the following duties:

Coordinate and assemble fluid power systemsPerform and coordinate layout and design of hydraulic systemCreate hydraulic drawings and schematicsPerform research and selection of hydraulic componentsComplete bills of material for hydraulic systemsEvaluate and implement hydraulic design changesProvide service, sales and manufacturing support for hydraulic systems.Troubleshooting hydraulic systemsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

2 year technical education and/or applicable experience in Fluid PowerThorough understanding of: Hydraulic relationships such as pressure, flow, efficiencies, powerMechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratiosApplications of various hydraulic componentsElectrical relationships such as voltage, current, power, AC/DCExcellent customer and vendor relationship skillsExcellent communication and skills
