We are looking for a temporary Leasing Coordinator (1-year contract) to join our Residential team in Yellowknife, NT. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Northview’s rental units are 100% occupied by qualified residents while maintaining a high level of customer service within our communities.

What you will do:

Being the point of contact for leasing inquiries, including outside of regular working hours Conduct viewings, reference and credit checks Conduct move-in and move-out appointments with residents and ensure legal documents are completed and signed correctly Conduct periodic market surveys within the market in your area and recommend rental fees based on market findings for vacant apartments Marketing rental units in line with current policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

Minimum one year of leasing experience, ideally in residential or building management or as a real estate agent Excellent customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor and the ability to speak and write English and French fluently Able to work independently, a self-starter and takes pride in the delivery of excellent resident services Experience and ability in “closing the deal” Experienced and knowledgeable in creative marketing Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary Strong computer skills Have a valid driver’s license, and in some instances access to a reliable vehicle
