As a motivated and detail-oriented JuniorSprinkler Estimator/Designer, you will assist in the design and estimation of fire protection sprinkler systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with industry standards.We are seeking a candidate who is not only passionate about fire protection, but also possesses work-level ability in AutoCAD, excellent communication and leadership skills as this position has ample opportunity to expand into a senior supervisory position. If you are ready to take your career to new heights and make a meaningful impact in the field of fire protection, we encourage you to apply for this opportunityResponsabilités -Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for sprinkler system projects -Create detailed and accurate design plans -Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop sprinkler system layouts -Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards and regulations -Collaborate with senior designers, project managers and clients to review project requirements and specifications -Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and verify existing conditions -Perform hydraulic calculations on both new and existing sprinkler systems -Set up hydrant flow tests with property managers or city representatives -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products and best practices -Support the preparation of project proposals, bid packages, takeoffs and closeouts -Participate in project meetings and provide support as needed Qualifications -Post-secondary education in Fire Protection Technology, Engineering or related field -Previous experience within the fire protection industry considered an asset -Working knowledge of building codes and NFPA standards -Proficiency in AutoCAD -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities -Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills -Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines -Willingness to learn and develop professionally within the company -Valid Driver's license Ce que nous offrons Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Vision care
