ROLE OVERVIEW

The Associate Counsel will support the growth of Fashion Nova in an entrepreneurial yet
compliant manner. Our anticipated expansion needs an Associate Counsel to work closely with
our General Counsel primarily on compliance matters, as well as litigation oversight support
and contract review in a complex and fast-moving environment that offers growth
opportunities for a mid to senior-level lawyer. The person in this position will expand their skill
set to round out their career as an in-house counsel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the Company’s General Counsel on compliance and risk
mitigation, with an emphasis on wage and hour and other employment laws,
consumer laws, and data privacy laws Assist in the management of outside counsel on litigation matters, primarily be
performing legal and factual research as needed Draft and negotiate general commercial contracts most relevant to our business,
including tech agreements, vendor agreements, and intellectual property contracts Handle the Company’s day-to-day legal needs as they arise Perform selected assignments and other responsibilities as assigned by the
Company’s General Counsel

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of eight years of experience as an attorney, with a substantial experience
in wage and hour laws and other employment matters, with at least three years of
that time spent at a reputable law firm In house experience a plus Experience with data privacy, consumer class actions, and intellectual property are
also a plus Demonstrated strong legal researcher and writer a must Juris doctorate degree from a top-tier law school Licensed to practice law in the State of California or qualifies as a Registered In-House Counsel under California’s State Bar Rules Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand Self-motivated Ability to work effectively with senior management Superior interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Exceptional communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written Excellent project management and organizational skills English, additional language(s) an advantage Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
