Description

We are looking for Construction Worker for our Scarborough location. Shift: Monday -Friday 7am-3.30pm

Job Description: Construction Worker

Job Duties:

Assist with various construction projects including new office buildings and renovations. Participate in forming work, layout, and tying rebar for concrete structures. Assist with pouring concrete, ensuring proper leveling and finishing. Install vinyl and ceramic flooring materials. Replace windows and doors, working with both metal and wood frames. Perform repairs to block and brickwork. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety protocols and procedures as outlined on the job site. Take direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with other team members. May be required to work on weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of construction experience, or a proven track record in a related field. Experience with forming work, layout, and tying rebar. Familiarity with concrete pouring, leveling, and finishing techniques. Ability to install vinyl and ceramic flooring materials. Experience replacing windows and doors, working with both metal and wood. Knowledge of block and brickwork repair methods. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks. Must be reliable and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
