Position:  The Information Systems team is looking for a Business Analyst Co-op to assist hands on in the full systems development life cycle. You will work alongside talented individuals developing, implementing, and administering new software solutions across our organization. You will be assisting and helping with many of the software implementations and projects we have scheduled for that quarter.

In this role you will: 

Be exposed to and master administration of different software used across the organization  Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) on new technologies and document findings  Assist by performing project management tasks and Business analyst work  Work with business partners to define, develop and document detailed business requirements  Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and keep current with leading-edge technologies by researching Business Analytics platforms  Day-to-day task to keep the business systems teams organized

Experience and skills we’re looking for:

Currently enrolled in a relevant technology program, such as Computer Science, Engineering,Information Technology Management, Financial Analysis and Risk Management, or Computing  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and synthesize input in a team-based, collaborative environment  Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management  Able to handle several tasks at any given time  Highly self-motivated and able to work independently  Willingness to research and find innovative and effective solutions  Strong analytical skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Nice to have:

Previous business analyst or business systems experience  Familiarity with Jira and Confluence  Experience with technology project delivery and agile delivery methodology  Experience building compelling dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI)  Experience with marketing and sales lifecycles  Prior Co-op or professional experience is an asset  $21 - $26.50 an hourPlease include a cover letter with your application.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those who are selected for interviews will be contacted.
