JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

But not limited to…

Duties 

Fabricate and assemble Frames, Screens, Doors, Lockers, whiteboards, chalkboards and tack boards. Preps for windows and prepping for various types of hardware partsCut glass and fabricate sealed unit kits as requiredInstall glass in doors, frames and borrowed litesRead and interpret work orders, templates, blueprints or process specificationsSort parts, scrap, metal and other materialsClean work areas and equipmentFollows direction & instruction from supervisorFollows all safety policies including wearing appropriate safety attire at all timesInternally transport raw materials and finished metal products manually or using joists and other devicesOperate appropriate manufacturing and fabrication tools as required to complete assigned tasksMay include forklift operationAll other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

Welding experience an assetAbility to read and interpret work orders/blue printsAbility to read and interpret measuring utensilsStrong attention to detail and accuracyPhysical strength and stamina Mathematical and mechanical aptitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

Minimum 0-2 years’ experience
