Salary:

Classification 5, $24.29/hr, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.56 an hour on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay, for all regular hours worked.

Description:

Invigilators will supervisor students when writing a variety of exams (which may include read or scribed deliver of exams) on the Dawson Creek campus including marking/grading CAAT exams, executing exam requirements from the examining institution and following invigilation protocol for NLC exams. The individual will use the colleges' database (Colleague) to enter scores from internal assessments.

**Please note that the shifts could occur during the day, evening or on the weekends.

Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Previous experience invigilating exams in a post-secondary education setting is considered an asset, but not a requirement. Ability to invigilate all exams strictly adhering to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and the security of all tests, and completion of necessary documentation for all tests. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and the ability to learn databases is essential. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong record keeping and organizational skills.
