Operate ramp equipment and load aircraft as a UPS Ground Handler in Richmond, British Columbia, working outdoors on weekday afternoons.
UPS seeks part time Afternoon Ground Handlers, also called Ramp Agents, for Vancouver Air Gateway Operations. The permanent shift runs Monday to Friday, starting at 2:00PM, normally spanning 27 to 30 hours weekly. No experience is necessary because on the job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load air containers and packages onto UPS aircraft
- Operate ground equipment around the aircraft ramp
- Marshall and direct aircraft into or out of parking
- Remove safety equipment around aircraft
- Assist with next day ramp setup
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
- Recent and clean driver's abstract
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted
- Availability five days weekly, from 2:00PM to 7:00PM
- Eligibility for a Restricted Access Identity Card
