Gateway Meat Market is hiring five retail butchers who have a passion for meat preparation. With a minimum of one year in the field and a high school diploma, you will gain expertise in crafting standard and custom meat cuts. You’ll thrive in a chilled work environment focused on quality and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and clean meats for processing
• Execute special cuts specifically requested by customers
• Cut, package, and weigh various meats for sale
• Grind meats and prepare crafted roasts
• Deliver high-quality customer service throughout
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of relevant experience expected
• Must hold a secondary school graduation certificate
• Willingness to work in cold environments
• Familiarity with butchery equipment, including band saws
• Strong customer interaction skills necessary
