Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Applications Developer to design, develop, and implement applications using Workday tools and technologies . The role involves supporting business requirements through the integration and maintenance of Workday systems, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of integrations and improvements. As an Applications Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and troubleshooting Workday integrations and ensuring the integration systems are optimized and compliant with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Maintain and improve Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) systems to ensure efficient functionality and business process alignment.
  • Integration Development:
  • Develop complex Workday integrations using technologies such as Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, RaaS Reports, BIRT, Webservice, Extend , and Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF) .
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide ongoing technical support for Workday integration issues, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to integrations, payroll systems, and business processes.
  • Business Process Development:
  • Design and configure business processes within Workday, including creating validation rules and ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Collaboration with Business Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with business teams to gather requirements, define integration solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that integrations meet quality, security, and compliance standards, and contribute to overall solution development using best practices.
  • Agile Delivery:
  • Participate in Agile project teams to support the timely delivery of Workday integrations and enhancements, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adapting to Change:
  • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Adjust to changes quickly and positively, ensuring that project timelines and business needs are met.

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have Skills):

  1. Experience with Workday Integrations:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS Reports, BIRT, Webservices, Extend, Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF)) within an enterprise environment.
  1. HR Systems Expertise:
  • 5+ years' experience working with HR systems, particularly Workday and/or ADP Global View (Payroll systems).
  • Familiarity with SaaS applications like Compass and Salesforce .
  1. Integration Experience:
  • Proven experience building integrations between Workday and source systems (internal) or external vendors.
  1. Agile Experience:
  • Strong background in Agile delivery methods for systems development and integration projects.
  1. Excellent Communication Skills:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and business teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Workday Extend and payroll systems is a plus.
  2. Requirements gathering experience is a nice-to-have, as you may work closely with business teams to define technical requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science , Computer Engineering , or a related field is required.
  • Certifications: Workday Certified (preferred).
