In this role as a Staff Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership across Commercial and Product Partnership teams, supporting large cross‑functional programs. You will represent the engineering team and technologies to partners, while helping drive technical and business strategy. The role entails operational support for ad‑hoc partner requests, collaborating with engineering teams on solution design, and managing the execution of long‑term initiatives. What You’ll Do Develop detailed project plans, including solution design, timeline estimation, task breakdown, and testing plan. Provide day‑to‑day support for technical questions from external partner stakeholders. Develop integration support material and documentation for new products, rollouts, and features. Serve as an overarching SME and point of escalation for internal and external teams facing technical challenges. Make recommendations on integration strategy, platform evolution, infrastructure, and tooling selection to optimize user experience. Explore the business intersection between commercial strategy and technical partnership capabilities. Contribute to the internal development of pertinent external documentation to strengthen the overall partnership experience. What We Look For 4+ years experience in a Solutions Engineering, Partner Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer‑facing engineering role. Ability to read and understand multiple programming languages. Experience with JSON, HTML, REST API, and Webhook technologies. Familiarity with integrating UX elements with backend services, frameworks, and third‑party developer APIs. Experience with alerting and monitoring tools and applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders to stay on schedule. Passion and drive to change consumer banking for the better. Nice to have: experience and understanding of various partner platform types (e.g., e‑commerce, payment processors, payment gateways, and wallets). Base Pay Grade – N Equity Grade – 5 Employees new to the company typically start at the beginning of the pay range. We provide a simple and transparent pay structure based on location, experience, and job‑related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology spending, and benefits such as 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. Employees may also be eligible for equity rewards offered by the parent company. CAN pay range per year: $150,000 – $200,000.
