Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Milton, ON Pay Range: $22.65 per hour Shift: Afternoon: 2pm to 10:30pm What's the Job? Operates various electric Powered Industrial Trucks (e.g., Order Picker, Reach Truck, Rider Jack, Sit-Down Forklift) to move, deliver, and organize merchandise and materials throughout the warehouse or distribution center. Uses machinery to lift, stack, and transport products (up to 50 lbs), ensuring efficient handling and placement of inventory according to production schedules. Completes daily equipment inspections and performs both forklift-driving and general warehouse tasks as needed to support multiple departments (e.g., receiving, shipping, returns, packing). Adheres to all safety policies, company guidelines, and legal requirements while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Performs additional duties or projects assigned by leadership, including non-driving warehouse functions and potential reassignment to different departments based on business needs. What's Needed? Minimum of 1 year of Order Picker (Cherry Picker) experience required; Reach Truck or Forklift experience preferred. Must possess a valid Forklift Certification. Comfortable working at heights while using fall protection and other required PPE (protective footwear, high-visibility vest, etc.). Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and adapt to varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and occasional after-hours work. What's in it for me?
