Regional Director of Operations page is loaded## Regional Director of Operationslocations: Vernontime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.**Key Responsibilities:*** **Strategic Leadership:** + Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. + Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Drive innovation in operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.* **Supply Chain Management:** + Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring that food products are delivered on time, in full, and within quality standards. + Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and consistency in supply. + Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.* **Logistics & Distribution Oversight:** + Lead the logistics and transportation teams to optimize national distribution networks, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective transportation solutions. + Implement data-driven strategies to manage fleet operations, warehouse facilities, and distribution points across the country.* **Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:** + Continuously evaluate and optimize operational workflows to drive cost reductions and operational efficiencies. + Foster a culture of operational excellence through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices. + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.* **Budget & Financial Management:** + Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost controls are in place and that the department operates within financial targets. + Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and create cost-saving initiatives. + Developing and managing Budgets, P&Ls and key performance indicators* **Cross-functional Collaboration:** + Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless communication between departments and alignment on client expectations. + Work closely with IT to enhance systems and processes that drive operational performance and integrate advanced technology into the supply chain.* **Compliance & Risk Management:** + Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines. + Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions in the supply chain and ensure business continuity.**Qualifications:*** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). + Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are highly desired.* **Experience:** + 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the food distribution or related industry. + Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex operations across multiple regions. + Strong experience with food safety standards, inventory management, and distribution logistics.* **Skills & Abilities:** + Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. + Ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. + Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other operational software.**Physical Requirements:*** Ability to travel as needed to oversee operations at various distribution centers and facilities.***Benefits you will enjoy:**** Comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug Plan, Disability Plan, Life insurance Plan* 401K savings Plan* Paid Holidays* Personal Time off* Employee Discounts* Opportunity for professional growth and development*Quirch Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
