We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Operations to lead and optimize day-to-day operations within a CIRO-regulated investment dealer. This role is ideal for a driven individual with deep experience in operation, regulatory processing environments, and managing cross-functional projects and system conversions. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity, compliance, and strategic execution across both business-as-usual (BAU) and transformation initiatives. And be willing to promote the organization’s cultural focus on an elevated client-centric servicing proposition. RESPONSIBILITIES Leading and managing core operational functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IIROC/CIRO standards. Developing and implementing best-in-class operational processes, procedures, and controls. Acting as the operations lead for major initiatives, including platform conversions, and integrations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (IT, compliance, finance, vendor partners) to scope, plan, and execute projects. Monitoring key milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery with minimal impact to BAU. Ensuring operational processes align with CIRO regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks. Partnering with senior leadership to communicate project updates, risk escalations, and operational trends. Serving as the key point of contact for escalations related to operational service delivery and project transitions. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and client experience. Leading change initiatives that enhance operational scalability and service excellence. QUALIFICATIONS 7–10+ years of experience in financial services operations, preferably within a CIRO-regulated dealer. Proven track record managing operational teams and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Demonstrated experience with back-office platforms (e.g., Dataphile, Broadridge) and system conversions. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements under CIRO/IIROC. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach. Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed or dynamic environment. Calm under pressure with strong analytical and organizational skills. Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about operational excellence.
