Mechanical Designer – Healthcare Organizations: AME Group Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Base pay range CA$66,000.00/yr – CA$85,000.00/yr We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with healthcare experience to join our team in Calgary . In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of mechanical design projects, from schematic design through to construction, within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive and creative thinker with a strong interest in advancing their career in the healthcare sector. Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities Mechanical design including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building control systems. System design calculations and equipment selections. Preparation of contract drawings and documentation. Project coordination with team designers and external design professionals. Comply with AME Quality management standards and processes. Key Skills Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, IESve, HAP and Microsoft Office. Up-to-date knowledge of technical developments, building codes and standards. Clear and concise communication, both orally and written. Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team. Qualifications and Experience P.Eng. or Professional Technologist designation is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 3 years of experience working in the industry with some healthcare experience.
