Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Long Term Contract
Client: Banking and Financial services Client
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience on building data models for Credit Risk (RWA, Firm Wide Stress Testing, Capital allocation, forecasting). We’re building this on AWS.
- Data Modeler job requirements:
- Develop and maintain complex data models for Credit Risk (RWA, Firm Wide Stress Testing, Capital allocation, forecasting).
- Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts
- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner
- Experience in designing and implementing database structures both on – prem and on cloud (AWS)
- Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Knowledge of industry best practices for data modeling and database design for Cloud native solution
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
