Underwriter/Senior Underwriter, Private & Not‑For‑Profit Management Liability – Financial Lines Be among the first 25 applicants. Key Objective As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will manage and grow a Private and Not‑for‑Profit Management Liability book of business, playing a critical role in growth and profitability initiatives for this specialty department. Major Responsibilities Identify, analyze, and develop sources of new business by actively marketing Chubb products. Develop new business opportunities and provide customized approaches on market conditions and broker needs, collaborating with leadership on marketing strategy. Perform risk selection, coverage negotiation, and pricing adequacy. Conduct in‑depth underwriting analysis to determine the best course of action on a risk‑specific basis. Collaborate with a centralized underwriting team on renewal retention and upselling in the existing renewal book. Cross‑sell with Commercial field underwriters and Financial Lines underwriters. Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insureds in the Central region, including educating brokers on Private and Not‑for‑Profit Management Liability. Participate in self‑development activities to improve technical product knowledge. Qualifications Successful completion of a university‑level curriculum and/or equivalent work experience. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset. 1‑3 years of underwriting experience in Management Liability insurance. Previous experience in marketing or customer development. Demonstrated track record of customer service orientation and proven ability to foster strong business relationships. Proven negotiation skills gained through established broker relationships. Demonstrated analytical skills with comfort in financial analysis. Innovative and creative thinking to develop new opportunities. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
