Equity Research Associate, Metals & Mining Join to apply for the Equity Research Associate, Metals & Mining role at Desjardins Responsibilities Assist in the development of comprehensive company/industry specific financial and operational models. Maintain and develop sector specific databases. Compile and evaluate industry information and research. Assist in generating company and industry research reports and comments. Provide analytical, quantitative and administrative support to the analyst as required. Assist with ad‑hoc projects, presentations and assignments as needed. Liaise with sales, trading and other areas of the firm. Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel from companies under coverage. Qualifications and Experience Honour’s Bachelor degree in a related field. A minimum of four years of relevant experience (other combinations may be considered). Experience in analyzing financial statements and creating financial models in Excel. Advanced computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg and internet data sourcing.
