What You’ll Do As a Sales Agronomist, you will play a key role in supporting our customers’ success while driving business growth. Responsibilities include: Provide valuable agronomic advice and recommend crop input solutions including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, canola, corn, and forage seed Interpret soil, tissue, and water sample results Scout fields for weeds, insects, disease, and overall crop health Manage pricing, sales, and inventory of crop protection products Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers Generate new business through networking, follow-ups, and cold calls Maintain and analyze customer records to identify opportunities and prioritize service Meet and exceed annual performance goals What We’re Looking For Agriculture-based degree or diploma, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent education 3+ years of agronomy experience preferred (but not required — we value potential and attitude) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset Sales experience is an asset, but not mandatory Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons Knowledge of the local trading area and farming community is an asset Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract What We Offer Competitive compensation with bonus and overtime pay Monday to Friday schedule with seasonal overtime as needed Opportunity to grow with an expanding, locally owned business Supportive team environment where your contributions are valued Why Work With Us We believe a great business starts with great people.
