About the Role Join Aecon Group Inc. as an IDD Manager, BIM & Digital Engineering. This role is based in Canada and can be performed from our Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver office. You will lead integrated digital delivery across project disciplines, enabling BIM, GIS, and digital construction solutions for major infrastructure projects. What You'll Do Overall accountability for enabling BIM, GIS and digital construction across project disciplines (Design, estimating, planning, construction). Provide leadership, support and coordination across all technical work streams from Design through to construction. Ensure delivery of BIM and GIS in accordance with Aecon’s IDD BIM processes and procedures. Support the IDD Director with future developments and provide the right resourcing for the IDD team on projects. Manage the link between the Client’s BIM representatives, the consultant BIM team, Aecon (and any JV partner) and subcontractor BIM teams. Coordinate BIM outcomes to ensure information is delivered to programme and coordinated across engineering disciplines. Ensure BIM requirements set on the project support digital integration across all project functions. Verify Information Models in accordance with ISO 19650 and the Institute for BIM in Canada toolkit. What You Bring Large infrastructure BIM implementation experience. Engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience in civil construction practice. Excellent knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, Institute of BIM in Canada). Experience with model federation platforms such as Assemble Systems, Navisworks and Bentley Navigator. Experience with Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise and Aconex. Detailed understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards. Working knowledge of EHS regulations. Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle and within construction project environments. Experience with large complex infrastructure projects desirable. Understanding of design and construction phases and alignment with the Digital Plan of Works. On‑site construction experience desirable. Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills and a customer‑first attitude. Proven ability in priority setting, multitasking, and working with minimal supervision. Bilingual (French and English) desirable.
