ROLE: Portfolio Manager

Location: Montreal (hybrid)

Duration: 12 months to permanent

Compensation: Competitive

 

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :

·       Work with experienced portfolio managers to manage investment portfolios

·       Conduct securities research and analysis, select suitable securities and structure portfolios according to investment guidelines;

·       Manage discretionary investment funds, including investment decision making, trading, monitoring, rebalancing, performance analysis and risk management;

·       Coordinates client onboarding process and fulfill KYC and KYP requirements

·       Assist in marketing and presentations

·       Opportunities to grow with the organization

 

SKILLS:

·       Desire to learn and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment

·       Team player with the ability and confidence to work independently

·       Strong client communication and interpersonal skills

·       Attention to detail

·       Excellent priority-driven organizational and time management skills

·       Comfortable with the use of technology

 

MUST HAVE:

·       CFA designation with at least one year of investment experience, or CIM with at least four years of investment experience

·       Qualified to be registered as Advising Representative by The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
