Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Assocaite Quality Engineer with strong experience in Appium for mobile automation and API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend services through manual and automated testing. Key Responsibilities 1. Mobile Application Testing Perform manual and automated testing for Android and iOS applications. Validate Adobe analytics tagging on the Mobile App. Design, develop, and maintain Appium automation scripts using Java. Validate UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and app behavior across devices and OS versions with Accessibility standards. Execute functional, regression, smoke, compatibility, and exploratory tests. Troubleshoot mobile‑specific issues such as performance, gestures, device orientation, push notifications, and permissions. 2. Automation Framework Development Build and enhance a robust mobile automation framework using Appium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle. Implement Page Object Model (POM), reusable libraries, and reporting tools. Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab). 3. API Testing Test RESTful APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability. Create and validate API test cases using Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger. Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth). Perform data validation, error code checks, and contract testing. Automate API tests and include them in CI/CD pipelines. 4. Defect Tracking & Quality Processes Identify defects, reproduce issues, and log bugs in tracking tools (Jira and JTMF). Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and daily stand‑ups as part of Agile/Scrum teams. Collaborate with L3 team, Perf team and PEN testing if needed. Required Skills: Technical Skills Strong hands‑on experience in Appium (Android & iOS). Good knowledge of mobile debugging tools (ADB, Xcode, Android Studio). Expertise in writing automation scripts using Java. Strong understanding of API testing (REST), using Postman or Rest Assured. Standard Accessibility testing on Mobile Including Keyboard. BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
