**Hiring: Machine Operator** CALL **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM **Pay:** $18.00–$19.00 per hour **Job Type:** Full-time, Permanent --- ### **Position Overview** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Forming Machine Operator** to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate advanced flow forming machinery while ensuring production standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures are consistently met. This position offers hands-on training and opportunities to develop skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. --- ### **Key Responsibilities** * Operate flow forming machinery in accordance with established work instructions and production standards * Perform secondary operations such as deburring, grinding, cleaning, and packaging as required * Conduct first-off, in-process, and last-off quality inspections * Read and record measurements using tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges * Complete production and quality documentation, including production reports and lot tracking records * Follow work orders, travellers, SOPs, and machine-specific instructions * Identify and report quality or production issues to supervisors promptly * Use pneumatic and electrical tools safely and correctly * Assist with basic machine maintenance and mechanical adjustments under supervision * Maintain a clean and organized workstation * Follow all company health and safety policies and wear required PPE at all times * Perform additional duties as assigned --- ### **Qualifications & Skills** * Previous experience as a Press Operator, Forming Operator, or CNC Production Machine Operator is an asset * Ability to read and communicate effectively in English * Basic understanding of technical drawings and blueprints * Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations --- ### **Work Environment & Physical Requirements** * Manufacturing shop environment * Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required --- **Training is provided.
