With this position, you would be joining a dynamic administrative team who directly facilitate and support the advancement of research, education, and knowledge translation in obstetrics and gynaecology, from a local to a global perspective. As the Residency Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively under the guidance of the Residency Program Director and Residency Program Officer to support Canada’s largest and most prestigious residency program in obstetrics and gynaecology. Serving as the primary point of contact, you will respond to residency program‑related enquiries from a variety of stakeholders, including approximately 75 residents. You will liaise with university and hospital staff, trainees, faculty, and external vendors to coordinate program activities, assist with event execution, and provide a wide array of program support. Your exceptional organizational skills and clear, effective communication will contribute to the ongoing success of the residency program. Your responsibilities will include: Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting to other staff members or faculty as appropriate Providing detailed information to residents on program and/or course requirements Coordinating course and meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow‑up items Supporting committees including the Residency Program Committee with scheduling, meetings, coordinating agendas, materials and action items Determining logistical details and activities for various events and programming (including weekly Academic Half Day sessions) Writing routine documents and correspondence and updating and maintaining resident records Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of education and equivalent experience Minimum two (2) years’ experience providing program support in a university or equivalent environment such as a teaching hospital Demonstrated experience providing frontline customer support and managing general enquiries promptly and professionally Experience disseminating program and course information to residents and other stakeholders and ensuring hospital administrators follow medical education requirements, guidelines, and procedures Experience maintaining course and student data, including collecting and submitting grades, in the student information system Demonstrated experience coordinating course and examination schedules Experience coordinating the logistics of meetings and events, including minute‑taking, agendas, and managing calendars Strong written communication skills, including experience drafting correspondence, maintaining databases, and preparing reports High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines through effective prioritization, time management, and organizational skills Demonstrated capacity to work independently with initiative and sound judgment, while collaborating effectively as part of a team in high‑pressure environments To be successful in this role you will be: Resourceful Closing Date: 12/17/2025, 11:59PM ET Employee Group: USW Appointment Type: Budget - Continuing Schedule: Full-Time Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 09 -- $67,916. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $86,855.
