Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Card Optimization Manager to boost revenue by assisting existing and prospective clients in optimizing their use of our complete range of card solutions within their AP processes. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, account management or implementation within the mid‑market B2B payments, commercial card, and virtual card sectors. This client‑facing position will drive client adoption and increase revenue through effective client engagement and supplier enablement strategies, as well as close cross‑functional collaboration. Reporting to the VP of Cards, this strategically important role offers a direct impact on a vital revenue stream. In this role, you will be responsible for: Work closely with clients to understand their payment needs and supplier relationships, offering tailored card solutions that maximize value and enhance financial processes. Drive client adoption of virtual cards through effective engagement with both clients and suppliers. Conduct comprehensive spend analysis of client supplier files to identify areas for card optimization. Provide actionable recommendations and best practices for card adoption and supplier enablement. Design and manage effective supplier outreach strategies to ensure optimal execution of supplier campaigns. Collaborate with cross‑functional resources for quality and timely execution, maintaining close communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners including product, marketing, sales, customer success, supplier enrollment and payment operations to further promote these initiatives. Additional responsibilities: Continuously evaluate business processes related to our card solutions and supplier enablement services, offering insights and recommending improvements. Take on other responsibilities as required to support client success and contribute to revenue growth. About you Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in commercial credit card, virtual card, and B2B payments in sales, account management or implementation. Strong understanding of supplier enablement strategies in the virtual card segment. Proven track record in client‑facing roles, consistently exceeding revenue targets and client retention goals. Preferably within the fintech or financial services industry. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a high attention to detail. Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Suite. Project management and pipeline management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and concisely to clients and internal partners.
