Base pay range CA$121,800.00/yr - CA$162,400.00/yr Job Title: Corporate | Commercial Litigation Lawyer Our client, a multi-practice, highly-respected Calgary firm, is looking for a 5+ year corporate commercial litigation lawyer for their team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years' experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters. A book of business is not required. Responsibilities Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences Routine communications with clients Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients Provide leadership and direction with respect to less experienced attorneys Qualifications JD from an FLSC approved school 5+ years of experience solid corporate commercial litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial Experience with time management systems Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Benefits Guaranteed bonus structure Hybrid opportunity once established All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
