Summary We are looking for a Markham Networking Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. Description York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Markham Networking Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. The Networking Event Volunteer Is Responsible For Coordinating and managing the event schedule, ensuring all sessions, speakers, and activities are appropriately aligned. Oversee registration processes, including managing attendee lists, confirmations, and onsite check‑in procedures. Serve as the point person for event execution, overseeing the setup and cleanup of the event site. Handle any logistical issues, attendee inquiries, or on‑site challenges in a professional and calm manner.
