The location in Montreal , ( Quebec , Canada ), is seeking talent to fill the position of Agent, Corporate Accounting . This job is full-time permanent .
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, your role will consist in registering financial accounting transactions.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Prepare accounting entries;
Perform month-end closing including balancing intercompany transactions;
Perform analysis of various balance sheet accounts;
Prepare bank reconciliations related to payroll and accounts payables;
Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss and follow up on issues identified through reconciliation and analysis;
Participate in the quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation;
Participate in year-end forms preparation for Tax and Financial Reporting.
Key Skills:
Interest in acquiring new skills;
Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines;
Proactive and a good team member.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting, or are in the process of obtaining it;
A professional designation is an asset;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Knowledge of GAAP and SAP (FI/CO) is considered an asset;
Bilingual, English and French, both spoken and written*
