Join to apply for the Wireless Sales Supervisor role at Staples Canada Job Overview As the Wireless Sales Supervisor at Staples Canada, you will champion the customer experience in the wireless department, helping our consumers and business customers achieve their working & learning goals through knowledge of the latest wireless tech products, services, and trends. Responsibilities Partner with management to identify and achieve short and long‑term goals for the wireless department. Ensure the team understands the connection between store financial success and the wireless department. Lead and model selling by cultivating a selling culture with associates to achieve current goals and targets. Lead and model unlocking the whole‑store play by engaging with customers and associates in other departments when not engaged with a customer at the wireless kiosk. Effectively resolve customer concerns and escalations to management when appropriate. Perform follow‑up calls to solicit feedback on sales and promote additional products and services where applicable. Identify and grow new business opportunities and prospects, such as generating referrals and participating in outreach activities. Work with various market leaders (General Manager, Divisional Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Retail Sales, and Services Manager) to target and generate business sales leads and referrals. Provide management with relevant sales information. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes within the department. Be accountable for training and coaching associates in all aspects of sales and customer engagement. Understand and adhere to all asset protection and privacy policies, and coach others to do so as well. Qualifications Completion of post‑secondary education is preferred. 2+ years of wireless sales experience. 1+ year in a supervisory role with direct accountability for achieving sales targets is preferred. Ability to resolve clients’ concerns in a diplomatic manner. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently to handle daily responsibilities and serve customers.
