To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities: Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement, and construction. Perform varied mechanical engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/fields. Solve problems by use of combinations of standard and modified standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments. Participate in planning required to achieve prescribed objectives. Supervise large groups of professionals and non-professionals or small groups of specialized engineers. Qualifications: University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred. Registered or eligible to register with the PEO as a P.ENG. 10+ years of working experience in design, process, maintenance engineering, and engineering management within the Nuclear, Power, or Industrial Facilities is considered an asset. Previous Nuclear Mechanical Maintenance and/or Consulting Engineering experience is considered an asset. Experience in communicating with other design disciplines and having an appreciation for the impact of their designs on other design disciplines is an asset. Must have strong computer-oriented skills (familiarity with Autocad, MS Office, Numerical Methods Solutions). Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred. Coaching, professional service management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills. Must be able to receive Security Clearance.
