We’re excited to share an opportunity for an exsisting vacancy Industrial Designer to join an established retail display manufacturer based in Oakville, Ontario This position is ideal for a creative and technically skilled designer who thrives on developing innovative, visually engaging retail environments using sheet metal, wood, and mixed materials. Key Responsibilities Lead the conceptual design and development of custom retail display systems, from sketch to final production-ready models. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions. Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD software. Balance aesthetic appeal with practical design for cost, durability, and manufacturability—particularly in sheet metal fabrication. Review prototypes, conduct design revisions, and support production teams through the build and installation phases. Stay ahead of retail design trends, materials innovations, and manufacturing technologies to enhance product offerings. Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design or related technical field. 3+ years of experience designing retail displays, fixtures, or kiosks with a strong emphasis on sheet metal design. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D design tools; strong visualization and rendering skills. In-depth understanding of metal fabrication processes Excellent sense of design, form, and functionality with a passion for brand expression through physical environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
