Senior Tax Associate

Position Overview LSP Canada is seeking a Senior Tax Associate for our London, Windsor, or Niagara Falls offices. In this role, you will work closely with our tax professionals to provide high-quality tax compliance and planning services to individuals, families, and businesses across Ontario. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Canadian tax preparation, CRA compliance, and client-facing operations, especially during peak tax season. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file personal (T1), corporate (T2), and trust tax returns. Assist with GST/HST and other indirect tax compliance. Conduct tax research and apply Canadian tax legislation to client cases. Support tax planning and strategy recommendations to optimize client tax positions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client filings. Communicate with clients to collect documentation, answer questions, and provide guidance. Mentor junior staff and support team workflows as needed. Ensure compliance with CRA regulations and internal quality standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3+ years of Canadian tax experience (public accounting, tax advisory, or corporate). CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred. Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and CRA compliance. Proficiency with Canadian tax software (ProFile, Profile, Taxprep, or similar). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during peak tax season. Additional Requirements Legally authorized to work in Canada. Availability during peak Canadian tax season (February–April). Ability to work on‑site in London, Windsor, or Niagara Falls, Ontario.
